WHY DO I WORK WITH WOOD

Since I can remember I've always loved wood, the texture, the colors, the smell, the look. I think wood just makes anything cozier and I love coziness!

Besides that I can't help to get all these images in my head about all the things I want to make, there are so many things that I want to design and create that I think I would be miserable if I didn't do it.

On the other hand I am so worry about our planet and our own health. That's why I decided I wanted to work with wood since wood is one of the few renewable materials and it doesn't generate waste! Plus I love it but I already said that.

And I also believe that: 

"There's nothing better than natural and there's nothing more natural than nature".

And I don´t want to be dramatic or to make of this space a dark room but I am very worry about certain facts. For example, did you know that every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans.(sas.org.uk) And recent studies have revealed marine plastic pollution in 100% of marine turtles, 59% of whales, 36% of seals and 40% of seabird species examined.(sas.org.uk)

Anyways, I don't want to complain but to do whatever is in my hands to help to overcome this situation. So what I have in my hands is wood and an idea about creating a new way of life, one that can be healthy, sustainable and beautiful.

I hope from now on we can share this dream.
